Overtime pay for restructuring task

The Presidential Agreement on the Application of the Attached Agreement Regarding the Payment of Overtime to the Personnel of the Central and Provincial Organization of the Tax Administration, subject to Law No. 657 of Public Servants, was published in the Official Gazette.

In accordance with Law No. 7440 on the Restructuring of Certain Credits and Modification of Certain Laws, the personnel subject to the Public Servants Law, who must work overtime in the corresponding units to carry out the operations planned to be carried out in the organization central and provincial of the Tax Administration, in consideration of their work outside working hours. The procedures and principles in relation to the payment of overtime were regulated.

Consequently, the aforementioned salary is paid by the personnel who work in the Departments of Collection and Conflict Affairs, Implementation and Data Management, Revenue Management and Taxpayer Service of the Tax Administration, who are obliged to work overtime in within the scope of Law No. 7440 and who actually work overtime outside working hours, will be paid to the staff assigned to the work and operations carried out within the scope of said law in the organization.

The period for which each employee will be paid overtime will not exceed 50 hours per month.

For each hour of extra work, 5 times the salary per extra hour (5.40 lira) determined in Annex (K) of the Central Government Budget Law for 2023 will be taken as a base.

The provisions of this Decision shall apply for the period from April 1 to September 30, 2023. (BRITISH AUTOMOBILE CLUB)
