The total turnover of the sectors decreased by 5.1 percent in February

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the turnover rates for February 2023.

Consequently, the billing index in the industry, construction, commerce and services sectors increased by 68.1 percent annually in February 2023.

Looking at the sub-details of the total billing; In February 2023, the annual turnover rate of the industrial sector increased by 44.9%, the turnover rate of construction increased by 136.5%, the turnover rate of commerce increased by 76%, and the turnover rate of services increased by 86.1%.

THE GREATEST DECREASE IN THE BUSINESS TURNOVER INDEX

The billing index in the industry, construction, commerce and services sectors decreased by 5.1 percent per month in February 2023.

Looking at the sub-details of the total billing; While the monthly construction billing index increased by 5.1 percent in February 2023, the industrial sector billing index decreased by 5 percent, the commercial billing index by 7.3 percent, and the billing for services decreased by 1.5 percent.
