The projects prepared to become a green OIZ will be accredited by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and will be evaluated with priority.
The proportion of the common use area of the OIZs is less than 5 percent of the size of the OIZ; The proportion of service and support areas will not be greater than 15 percent of the size of the OIZ.
In areas designated as industrial areas in current zoning plans, the OIZ area will be finalized without the OIZ site selection process, provided that the opinion of the administration that approved the plan is taken and a geological and geotechnical as a basis. for the zoning plan.
The owners of plots that commit to invest in the terms and deadlines indicated in the respective regulation may be housed by the OIZ in the selected area without expropriation. The properties of those who do not fulfill the commitment will be expropriated.
FREEDOM TO IMPORT NATURAL GAS
In accordance with the regulation made by law, natural gas imports will be liberalized both for BOTAŞ and for legal persons in the private sector. However, these provisions will not apply to imports of liquefied natural gas (LNG), spot pipe gas and compressed natural gas (CNG).
The amount, duration and method of application of cash pipeline gas imports will be determined by the Energy Market Regulatory Board (EMRA) taking the opinion of the ministry.
EMRA; With the approval of the Ministry, it may allow the import by evaluating the requests within the procedures and principles that it will determine, considering whether there is a natural gas import contract between the country to be imported and BOTAŞ, the creation of a competitive environment in the market, obligations derived from contracts and export connections.
With the permission of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, it is possible to transfer or transfer the amounts subject to the BOTAŞ natural gas purchase contracts.
