Kazakhstan attracts record investment in 2022
The Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared information on the foreign direct investment that came to the country in the last year.
Consequently, Kazakhstan attracted $28 billion in foreign direct investment in 2022.
Thus, the country reached the last record in this field in 2012 ($28.9 billion).
THE NETHERLANDS MADE THE LARGEST INVESTMENT
The countries that invest the most in Kazakhstan are the Netherlands (8.3 billion dollars), the United States (5.1 billion dollars), Switzerland (2.8 billion dollars), Belgium (1.6 billion dollars), Russia (1.5 billion dollars), Korea South (1.5 billion dollars), China (1.4 billion dollars), France (770 million dollars), England (661 million dollars) and Germany (469.5 million dollars).
Foreign investment was registered more in the mining, manufacturing, trade, education and transportation sectors. (AA)
