According to the results of the Türk-İş investigation in March 2023;

* The monthly food expenditure (hunger limit) necessary for a healthy, balanced and adequate diet for a family of four is 9,591.13 TL,

* The total amount of spending on food and other mandatory monthly expenses for clothing, housing (rent, electricity, water, fuel), transportation, education, health and similar needs (poverty line) is 31 thousand 241.48 TL,

* The ‘cost of living’ for a single employee rose to TL 12,469.98 per month.

The change in kitchen inflation was as follows in March 2023:

* The increase in the minimum amount of spending required by a family of four living in Ankara for “food” was 1.76 percent compared to the previous month.

* The two-month exchange rate was 17.96 percent.

* In the last twelve months, the variation rate was 94.62 percent.

* The exchange rate was calculated at 114.03 percent based on twelve-month averages.

‘THE EARTHQUAKE CAN IMPROVE INCOME DISTRIBUTION’
