Regulation to encourage vehicle inspection
Citizens who have passed the vehicle inspection period as of March 12, 2023, will pay the amount calculated at 0.75 percent per month, instead of the 5 percent surplus that will be calculated for each month, if they have their inspection carried out until September 30, 2023.
The Communiqué (Series No: 1) on the Seventh Clause (Vehicle Inspections) of Article 10 of Law No. 7440 prepared by the Ministry of Finance was published in the Official Gazette.

Consequently, in the case of those who have not carried out their vehicle inspection on time and in accordance with the Road Traffic Law, the monthly exchange rate of D-PPI until the date of publication of the Law, instead of 5 percent surplus that must be calculated for each month and fraction of the inspection period, in case the vehicle inspection is carried out until September 30, 2023. From the date of publication of the Law (including the month of publication) to the date of The vehicle inspection will be calculated based on a monthly rate of 0.75 percent for each month and its fraction.
In the event that said amount is paid with the inspection fee, the 5% franchise will not be charged. (AA)
