Nilhan Onal Gökçetekin, CEO of Hepsiburada, made the following assessment regarding the fourth quarter and year-end 2022 financial results:

“After 2022, which we closed with results that exceeded our objectives, our goal is to achieve significant achievements in 2023 as well. With the contribution of the investments we have made in recent years, we will continue to focus on increasing our profitability this year.

Hepsiburada Premium will continue to be an important asset for us to increase customer loyalty in 2023. Heppay, which offers solutions that support the purchasing power of our customers, and HepsiJET, which aims for excellence in customer experience, will be the points of important differentiation of the platform. In the coming year, our goal is to increase the number of businesses HepsiJET serves and to make our fintech solutions offered with Hepsipay available to different retailers. With a focus on sustainable growth in 2023, we expect total transaction volume growth of 70% for the first quarter of the year.

Another of our priorities for 2023 will be the Trade and Technology Force program for the Earthquake Zone, which we announced on March 6, 2023 and will last for two years. With our program, we will use our commercial and technological capabilities to the fullest to provide the long-term support that is needed in the region. We promise a trade volume of TL 10 billion in two years to 10,000 merchants and 5,000 women entrepreneurs in the region.”
