After the earthquake, TCIP damage payment exceeded 4.5 billion TL
The Natural Disaster Insurance Institution (DASK) announced that after the earthquakes that took place in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, it has made a loss payment of TL 4.52 billion so far.
In the statement made by DASK, it was reported that the insured continues to make his payments quickly.
392 THOUSAND NOTIFICATIONS HAVE RECEIVED
The statement noted:
“As of today, the number of notifications of damages that we received has reached 392 thousand 45 and the amount of compensation paid has reached 4 thousand 520 million 467 thousand 25 TL.
We began to receive requests from our policyholders through our website and e-Government, with the application we started on March 13 to be able to quickly make payments for slightly damaged notification files, which constitute approximately 80% of the total of 392 thousand 45 notifications we received.
With this application we make payments to insured owners of ‘slightly damaged’ homes in 72 hours.” (AA)
