AKP Automation: 13 billion jobs on 14 special invites in 7 days

The AKP government has informed the Public Procurement Authority of the results of 14 tenders for permanent housing in the earthquake zone.

It was understood that the processes of all the tenders were done in secret, without announcing, without announcing to anyone, with specially invited companies.

In the tenders between February 23 and March 1, the contract amount for the construction of 7,735 houses and 89 shops to be built in Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Gaziantep, Adıyaman, Şanlıurfa and Malatya amounted to 13.68 million from TL.

AROUND 300 BIDS WILL BE CARRIED OUT

In 2022, Turkey’s total government procurement, covering all goods, services and construction works, from needles to threads, from hospital drips to road, bridge and airport construction, amounted to 563 billion lira.

The figure that will emerge from the 270,000 houses that the AKP government announced will be completed within a year will almost reach this. The AKP government will finish tenders for at least 350-400 billion lira with jet speed in a very short time.

The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change has so far submitted the results of approximately 30 permanent housing tenders to the Public Procurement Authority (KİK). Taking GCC data into account, the number of permanent housing tenders will reach 300.

THE OPEN METHOD IS NOT PREFERRED

When we look at the data transmitted to the GCC, surprising results emerge. At the beginning of these, the government does not prefer the open procedure that allows all companies that allow competition and want to participate.

HOW CONTRACTORS ARE SELECTED

When the results sent to the GCC are examined, it is striking that in some tenders, contrary to expectations, the approximate cost is increased instead of reduced. It is not known what criteria the AKP government evaluates when choosing contractors.

SINGLE AUCTIONS

It was revealed that the “Joint Partnership” established by Egemen İnşaat and Ocean Energy, which has recently become one of the AKP’s favorite contractors, received two large tenders on two days in a row last November. The business society, which has attracted attention with the public tenders it has received in recent years, this time won a large housing tender due to the earthquake in Hatay. Egemen Construction and Ocean Energy will receive 1.145 billion lire for 821 residences and 36 businesses to be built in Payas.
