Big rise in notary fees

The rate corresponding to the fees collected for transactions carried out before notaries was increased by 100 percent.

In accordance with the 2023 notary fee schedule published in the current Official Gazette, notaries will receive a fee of 1 per thousand of the sale value of the properties subject to sale, in real estate contracts. This fee cannot be less than 500 TL or more than 4 thousand TL.

23.76 TL FOR EACH PAGE

The lower limit for notary fees collected by the notary public at the rate of 30 percent of the fees charged by notaries for their transactions, from 8.66 TL to 17.32 TL, from 391.91 TL to 783.82 TL for the issuance of wills and foundation deeds, the letter extracted from each prepared page, the fee increased from 11.88 TL to 23.76 TL.
