Hepsiburada launches the “Trade and Technology Force to the Earthquake Zone” program to support sustainable and lasting prosperity in 11 provinces affected by the earthquakes of February 6, 2023 and later.
The program supports SMEs, artisans and family businesses, women entrepreneurs and women’s cooperatives; increase the region’s e-commerce and logistics capacity; It includes the transfer of employment enhancement services and activities to the region, as well as education and social support for children and families.
Hepsiburada will support the region’s producers, businessmen, SMEs and artisans with all its technological, logistical, commercial and marketing power so that the regional economy can recover.
In order to support merchants and SMEs to quickly recover their businesses after the earthquake, Hepsiburada transfers the entire sales income of its commercial partners in the region to businesses without interruptions, commissions and without expiration period. In addition, it provides advertising and promotional support to each business through HepsiAds so that sellers can reach more customers. Online trainings on topics such as e-commerce, sales and marketing are also offered to companies selling on the platform in the region.
Likewise, in a first stage, in addition to supporting those affected by the earthquake in terms of hiring personnel and accounting issues, Hepsiburada’s logistical opportunities are also mobilized and preparations are being made to offer the marketing applications of the commercial partners of Hepsiburada used by large companies. of SMEs and merchants in the region.

500 THOUSAND PEOPLE WILL LIVE
The weight and volume of the region in the platform’s sales will be increased by bringing the products of the region’s producers and sellers closer to Hepsiburada’s individual and corporate clients with technologies based on artificial intelligence and through special campaigns. Its objective is to contribute to the employment of 120,000 people and the livelihood of 500,000 people with the effect of support and investments aimed at increasing electronic commerce in the region, as well as transferring some of the services received from suppliers to the region by Hepsiburada.
Hepsiburada will also implement the project ‘Especialization Centers in Electronic Commerce’ to be established in 3 different cities, which will respond to the growth and development of the e-commerce ecosystem in the region and the office, stock, logistics, marketing, customer service and needs training for small businesses.
In the first stage, work continues for the mobile offices to come into operation, which were enabled to respond to the office, computer, material and service needs of the vendors affected by the earthquake.
In the second phase, Specialization Centers in Electronic Commerce will be created, made up of call centers, HepsiJet transfer centers, offices for business partners, training and meeting areas. Opportunities will be offered to young people who want to obtain education, experience and knowledge in the different levels of the e-commerce ecosystem in the centers of specialization. These centers seek to strengthen cooperation between the private and public sectors, educational institutions, universities and NGOs and the commercial ecosystem of the region.
SUPPORT FOR WOMEN
Hepsiburada will support 5,000 women entrepreneurs in the region within the framework of the Technological Energy Program for Women Entrepreneurs, which it has been running since 2017. Many services, especially storage, packaging and loading, will be provided free of charge to women entrepreneurs and cooperatives of women who sell through the platform, who cannot continue with their production and supply processes due to the earthquake. With the activities aimed at increasing female entrepreneurship, it is sought that women participate more in commercial and economic life and that half of the merchants and businessmen who support themselves are women.
