SGK EYT Salary Statement
After the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Bilgin, announced that those who retire will receive their first salary in April within the framework of the regulation on Older Retirement (EYT), another statement came from the Social Security Institution ( SGK).
SGK said: “It is not legally possible for our institution to make a monthly payment based on applications made before the EYT related law was published in the Official Gazette and came into force.”
‘APPLICATIONS WILL BEGIN IN MARCH’
Responding to questions from members of the press ahead of the AKP group meeting in Turkey’s Grand National Assembly, Minister Bilgin said: “Will the first salaries be in April?” On the question, “Of course, this is how the legal process begins. Salaries will be paid according to the requests at the beginning of the first month following the publication in the Official Gazette. There is no need to panic. They can apply through e-government, if they find a problem they can apply through e-government, which I think they won’t, then they can go and apply in person. This will happen in March,” he said.
On the question of whether there will be a disruption due to the additional burden it will bring to the budget and the earthquake, Bilgin said: “No, everything was planned, there is no problem there, we have no such problem.” ” (DHA)
