The duration of the increased limit in public contracting through direct contracting is extended.
The monetary limit, which was increased to 5 million lira for public procurement to meet the needs arising from the earthquakes centered on Kahramanmaraş, has been extended until the end of the state of emergency (OHAL).
The Presidential Decree on the matter entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.
INCREASES TO 5 MILLION TL
In order to meet the needs of the provinces affected by the earthquakes with its epicenter in Kahramanmaraş, the monetary limits applicable to purchases made by the administrations of these or other provinces through direct contracting were increased to 5 million lira.
The duration of this practice, which was previously defined until February 28, 2023 by Decision of the President, was extended until the end of the state of emergency. (AA)
