No tax will be assessed for services provided by hotels providing free accommodation due to the earthquake.
To meet the accommodation needs of people affected by the earthquake, temporary accommodation is provided in hotels and similar facilities in various provinces, especially Antalya.
Citizens residing in the earthquake area have begun to be evacuated from disaster areas and temporarily housed in designated provinces upon request.
Due to the extraordinary conditions brought by the disaster, the free services provided by such companies to earthquake victims are unprecedented, so there will be no revenue, VAT and accommodation tax will not be calculated.
Likewise, the expenses incurred by these companies for services such as lodging, food and beverages provided free of charge to those affected by the earthquake will also be considered expenses. (AA)
