Great interest in affordable meat sales in Ankara Metropolitan Municipality

The sales of red and white meat made by Ankara Public Bread Factory through the Başkent Mobile Market broke a record on the first day. While 2,100 citizens benefited from affordable products, 2 tons of 100 kilograms of meat were sold.

Başkent Mobile Market will bring the meat produced by local producers to the people of Başkent in 25 districts until the end of Ramadan.
Ankara Public Bread Factory Deputy Director General Ümit Sevdi gave the following information about the practice, which will continue until the end of operations on Friday, February 3 at Abdi İpekçi Park:
* “As Mobil Model, we started our process to sell cheaply priced meat and minced meat to our Ankara citizens. Our process continues today. Yesterday the demand was close to 2 thousand 100 people and our total sales of meat reached the figure of 2 tons 100 kilos when we planned to give one kilo per person.
* Our cooperatives and meat producers continue with their work with great support, including night shifts, to meet the demand. We continue with a very fast operation and our logistics tools are operational… We will continue to bring our products to the feet of our people through our Mobile Market”.

The citizens of the capital city, who were very satisfied with the affordable meat sales made by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality under difficult economic conditions, and who lined up early in the morning, thanked ABB with the following words:
