Nabati said 255 billion, EYT came to Parliament with 194.4 billion

Cost uncertainty in EYT!

Deliberations on the bill, which brings retirement entitlement to Retirement Seniors (EYT), began with heated debates in Parliament’s Plan and Budget Committee.

There were no empty seats left in the room where the EYT arrangement was discussed, which attracted great interest from MPs and non-governmental organizations.

Opposition deputies, who expressed their reactions to opening currency in the commission room before meetings, said that the victimization of Bağ-Kur members, trainees and interns continues.

Presenting the regulation to the commission, AKP Group Vice President Muhammet Emin Akbaşoğlu announced that the cost of the regulation for the budget would be 194.4 billion lira.

However, the Minister of Finance Nureddin Nebati’s calculation of the cost of 255 billion lire the day before confused them.

It is estimated that 2.2 million people will have the right to retire this year, 1.7 million of them will continue working and 550 thousand will retire and move away from business life.

‘THE MINIMUM WITHDRAWAL WAS 8 thousand 500 TL’

Opposition deputies, who criticized the lack of EYT shares with the currencies they opened before the meetings, drew attention to the complaints of Bağ-Kur members, trainees and interns, and demanded that the minimum pension be increased at 8,500 TL.

The following messages were given in the open exchange houses:

“Bağ-kur is the social security institution of Greece?, “Let a gradual transition be organized for after September 8, 199” “Says the inmate; If I had an internship in Europe, you would count! Why is this discrimination?”, “Registration complaints from traders before 2000 should be eliminated”, “Minimum pension should be 8 thousand 500 TL”, “SGK should be considered as a starting point for practices and learning”, “There should be no bonuses in retirement”, “Same age and same bonus” date: SGK entry 8 Sep 1999 Retirement: 2024; SGK Entry September 9, 1999 Retirement: 2041” “Delay Monthly Settlement Rate”, “Hear the voice that we are stuck not only with EYT but also with the earthquake!”

IMPACT ANALYSIS: 194.4 BILLION TL

According to EYT’s impact analysis submitted to the commission, 2.2 million people are expected to retire this year when the law is passed.

Of the 2.2 million people who can retire immediately, 1.7 million are workers, 89,000 are merchants and farmers, and 496,000 are public employees.

However, in the coming years, 3.5 million workers, 619 thousand artisans and farmers, 669 thousand civil servants will be able to retire by law.

According to the impact analysis prepared with the assumption that 25 percent of the insured will retire and new staff will be taken in their place, the cost of the pension, the holiday bonus of 1,100 lira and the loss of premiums from 4/b for the SGK in the period of March 2023 will be 144.7 billion lire. 49.7 billion lire will be a burden on the budget through public staff.

Thus, in the 10-month period of this year, the total cost will be 194.4 billion lira. If no one enters the system, that is, if no new employees enter, an additional charge of 45.5 billion lira may come.
