Demand for a 2023 salary increase for public workers is on its way to the ministry

Türk-İş, which formed a Public Coordination Board under the chairmanship of Türk-İş Finance Secretary Ramazan Ağar and met three times, continues its negotiations with Hak-İş to submit a joint draft text to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. ‘WE ARE WAITING FOR RECONCILIATION’
In his statement on the matter, Agar said that some of the contracts under the protocol they signed in 2021 expire in January, while the rest will expire in March.
Stating that they have determined most of the demands that they will submit to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and that they will complete the rest as soon as possible, Agar said:
“We are also in contact with HAK-İŞ to finalize the joint text that we will send to the Ministry. In this context, we meet twice. It has been a useful and productive process. Before the end of this week, we will clarify our demands on economic and social rights. Then we will send the text to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. Given that some of the contracts have expired, we want the agreement to be signed as soon as possible.” (AA)
