LPG imports rose 43.2 percent on-year in November

According to the “Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG) Market Sector Report” of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority for November 2022, the countries from which refinery and distributor license holders made LPG imports were Algeria, USA, Russia, Kazakhstan, Norway, France and Libya.

LPG imports increased 43.2 percent in November 2022 compared to the same month of the previous year and amounted to 353 thousand 142 tons.

In this period, LPG exports made by refinery and distributor permit holders increased 136.7 percent to 49,738 tons.

Exports were made to 10 countries and regions, including Lebanon, Greece, Sweden, Seychelles, Bulgaria, Romania, Tunisia, Marshall Islands, Turkey Free Zone and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

LPG PRODUCTION DECREASED BY 18 PERCENT YEAR IN NOVEMBER

LPG production decreased 18 percent in the same period and reached 77,472 tons. Total LPG sales made by distributor license holders in November 2022 were estimated at approximately 346 thousand 7 tons.

In the month in question, autogas ranked first with a market share of 77.7 percent in sales. Bottled LPG followed with 14.6 percent and bulk LPG with 7.7 percent. (AA)
