Akbaşoğlu statement of the AKP on the dates of the EYT
AKP Group Vice President Muhammet Emin Akbaşoğlu said: “We will legislate EYT. We did 4 of 5 steps. We will be able to enact the EYT in February and receive their salaries in March,” he said.
Speaking about different explanations about the story at EYT, Akbaşoğlu said, “There is no contradictory situation regarding EYT. There is only the programming process in parliament. We will witness the EYT becoming law in February. Other than that, there is no question.”
WHAT HAPPENED AT ETJ?
The regulation on EYT was announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in recent weeks. After parliament passes the law, those who meet the insurance conditions, meet the premium day criteria and pay will be able to retire regardless of age.
The proposal to solve the 23-year-old problem will cover those who started working before September 8, 1999. There will be no age limit for the EYT, which will benefit 2 million 250 thousand people.
EYT members will be able to retire regardless of age if or when they meet the first two conditions. These conditions are; 5,000 premium days for SSK members, 20 years for women, 25 years for men, 20 full years (7,200 premium days) for women in BAĞ-KUR and Emekli Sandiği, 25 full years (9,000 premium days) for men.
