1 in 5 e-commerce people in Iran with internet outages became unemployed

The İtimad newspaper, known for its closeness to the reformists in Iran, shared the results of the survey carried out by the website of the employment service “Job Vision”.

According to research conducted with approximately 400 small-large workplaces with internet connection, 80 percent of workplaces have been laid off due to problems experienced in internet connection for 4 months, while 1/5 of employees have been unemployed. During this period, 45 percent of the workplaces paid their workers’ wages late.

77 PERCENT OF EMPLOYEES CONSIDER IMMIGRATION

According to the investigation, 80 percent of those who were fired for problems with the Internet during the demonstrations, the reason for their dismissal from the Instagram application is blocked.

In addition, according to research carried out with 6,000 people in Iran, 77 percent of employees are considering emigrating from the country due to uncertainty in the market and the business world.
