Nabati announced interest rates on the housing campaign

Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati announced the interest rates to be applied on the middle-income housing campaign at the MUSIAD Expanded Presidents’ Meeting.

Saying “This is not a housing loan campaign, it is a step that supports housing production”, Nebati announced the rates to be applied as follows;

“The interest rate will be 0.69 percent for loans up to TL 2 million. The interest rate will be 0.79 percent for loans up to TL 2-4 million. For loans between 4 and 5 million TL, the interest will be 0.99 percent.

Stating that new housing projects are also in scope, Nebati said that banks should make a project-based guarantee agreement with the contractors.

Nebati also stated that “applications within the scope of the program will start on January 16” and stated that the campaign is not temporary or short-term, but will continue.
