55 million lira per hour will go to interest in 2023

The Central Government Budget Law of 2023 was published in duplicate in the Official Gazette.

4 trillion 423 thousand 341 million 574 thousand Turkish liras were allocated to public administrations within the scope of the general budget, 365 billion 390 million 724 thousand Turkish liras to special budgetary administrations and 19 thousand 535 million 347 thousand Turkish liras to regulatory and supervisory institutions.

The revenue of the general budget is 3 trillion 762 billion 439 million 808 thousand Turkish lira, the revenue of the special budget administrations is 37 billion 133 million 891 thousand Turkish lira own revenue, 329 billion 737 million 621 thousand Turkish lira aid from the Treasury , a total of 366 thousand 871 million 512 thousand Turkish liras.

The revenues of the regulatory and supervisory institutions were estimated at TL 19,535,347 thousand, of which TL 19,102,343,000 were own revenues and TL 433,040,000 were aid from the Treasury.

INTEREST ON DEBT 487.2 BILLION TL

Domestic debt interest expense paid to public institutions was calculated as TL 1 million, other domestic debt interest expense TL 371 billion 170 million TL 700,000, external debt interest expense 116 billion 121 million 337,000 TL. Consequently, the estimated interest payment in the 2023 budget was 487 billion 294 million 37 thousand TL.

1 BILLION 335 MILLION TL OF INTEREST WILL BE PAID PER DAY

Accordingly, 1 billion 335 million 52 thousand 156 TL will be paid every day from the Turkish budget, and 55 million 627 thousand 173 TL will be paid every hour.
