Minister Varank: Industrialists suffer energy costs

Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank met with business representatives in Denizli and attended the opening and inauguration ceremonies. Minister Varank’s program began with the opening of the Denizli Textile Technical Center which took place in the Denizli Organized Industrial Zone.

Speaking at the ceremony, Varank said they discussed the issue of energy costs with industrialists; “We have just negotiated with our friends inside. Of course, our industrialists suffer from the picture of energy costs, we are aware of this. But look, what we call a model factory brings the next opportunity to the industrialist. He has the opportunity to increase his productivity by 20-30 percent simply by simplifying his processes, optimizing them and streamlining his supply processes, without making any investment. This is what investments like the model factory provide.”

‘GES RECOMMENDED INVESTMENT’

Minister Varank pointed to unlicensed SPP investments currently used by more than 150 factories across the city; “We need to take advantage of renewable resources like solar energy. When we put them into practice, our competitiveness will have increased and will have reached a much more advanced level. We as a ministry are trying to ease the burden on entrepreneurs with common use facilities.”

‘THE OPPOSITION LIKE DALLAS’ SERIES

In his speech at the ceremony, Industry and Technology Minister Varank, who also charged the opposition, said;

* You don’t look at politics when you listen. There used to be a Dallas series. It’s like watching Dallas. The purpose of politics is to find solutions. It is to present an alternative to the citizens.

*Our opposition only does theater and makes movies. Believe you will get results like this. We do not stay with them. We focus on our agenda.

‘HIGHEST DRY DOLLAR MINIMUM WAGE’

Speaking about the new minimum wage, Varank used the following statements:

* We focus on our agenda. We don’t prefer to watch the Dallas series. Together we will obtain very good results. There is this potential in the business world. The minimum wage has been announced today. 8 thousand 506 lire… There are some economists.

*Economists are believed to calculate only with the dollar exchange rate. Here is the minimum wage, which is the highest contribution in dollars in our 20 years of power, in terms of 8,506 lire dollars.
