Fuat Oktay gave a date for EYT
Vice President Fuat Oktay attended the ‘Citizens Meeting’ organized by the AKP Çubuk District Presidency in Ankara.
Saying that employees protect their jobs, they also protect their purchasing power against inflation, Oktay said: “This is what our president announced yesterday; After the minimum wage increase 6 months ago, we made another record 55 percent increase yesterday. The rate of increase was 100 percent compared to January 2022. We will solve the EYT issue within 1-2 weeks before the end of the year, and our president will share it with you. Whatever the problems our nation is facing, we are fighting to solve them,” he said.
“WE ALLOCATE THE NECESSARY RESOURCES”
Stating that they have determined the plans and programs that will support all segments of society, Oktay said: “We determined all this in our 2023 budget, the negotiations of which we completed in Parliament last week, and allocated the necessary resources. Next year, 145.4 billion lire for royal sector support in animal husbandry, 52.6 billion lire to cover health premium expenses for our citizens who cannot pay, 31.3 billion lire for our elderly people over 65, disabled citizens in need of care and their families, and 31.3 billion lira for the disabled. We allocate 28.2 billion lira to support care for our citizens at home, 10 billion lira to support financing of social housing, and 7,500 million lire for the family support program. Once again, we stand shoulder to shoulder with all segments of agricultural production, with all of our farmers, regardless of ‘small’ or ‘big’ scale; We are together. We have allocated 54 billion lira for agricultural support programs and 40.4 billion lira for investment allocations in the agricultural sector.
“THEY CANNOT BE SO MACRON”
Recalling the words of French President Emmanuel Macron: “We cannot digest that only Turkey is at the table to end the war between Russia and Ukraine and guarantee peace,” Oktay said, “Should we read this backwards? This is what who said: There is a war between Russia and Ukraine. This war harms both regional peace and world peace. The first of the main reasons for the increase in energy prices and the increase in prices of raw materials was the pandemic , the second was the war between Russia and Ukraine. In fact, he says that Turkey is the only one at the table regarding the termination of this. Our people, that is, even insiders do not see it. In fact, the president of France is trying to give Turkey its due while complaining. Once again, shame on those inside. They can’t even see that much. They’re not even as good as Macron. We France don’t sit at the table to be satisfied with what what have we done. We are not in France or in any of the EU countries, the West or any other country to ‘wink at us’ or say ‘well done’. We don’t need this,” he said.
“IF YOU ARE A MAN, EXPLAIN YOUR CANDIDATE”
Calling on the opposition to announce their presidential candidates, Oktay said: “They wanted to infect us with their sectarian attitude. They wanted to make a game about the sentence of a mayor for insulting, as if it were the Popular Alliance or our President. But the balloons deflated instantly. Our nation has seen this game too. Neither our president nor the Popular Alliance can support such cheap games. It has nothing to do with judicial protection or anything else. Our president gets the authority from him from the people. He takes his power from the people of him. He does not consider the place where he will take authority from him as the judiciary or other places. He gets the result of the ballot box. We said ‘Hodri Meydan’; If you’re a man, go out and show your presidential candidate, no one. For months, years, they have been cooking in front of the nation as temcit pilaf. Now it was inedible, sour, rancid. They tried to eat the rice between them, but they couldn’t either. Now they have started to get involved in the love of children. Anyway, handle it yourself, don’t involve us,” he said. (DHA)
According to the accepted group proposal of the AKP, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey will suspend its legislative activities from Monday, December 26 until Tuesday, January 3. Therefore, the proposals that were placed at the forefront of the agenda until December 26 will be completed. With the vacation decision made, the EYT deal was left for 2023.
ERDOĞAN ALSO GAVE THE DATE
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also said: “There has been a debate recently about those who are old enough to retire. Will there be an age requirement? Those who are stuck at retirement age for the second time? Is there a final decision on this issue? What will be its scope, its framework? He responded to the question as follows:
“First of all, of course, we will finish this work on EYT at the end of this month. For the time being, my fellow ministers are continuing their work and I hope that we will make a decision on this by the end of the month and that we will enter 2023 removing it from our table. That’s the thing.” (SOZCU.COM.TR, DHA)
