Minister Nabati responded to the criticism.

Speaking at the General Assembly in the last part of the budget discussions, the Minister of Finance Nureddin Nebati, in his speech on the budget of his ministry; Noting that they will respond to MPs’ questions and suggestions later, he said: “We need to make a written statement on TURKSTAT, asset peace, Turkish economy model, currency protected deposits, net errors and omissions, our budget, data of 2022, expectations for 2023 and all your suggestions in this regard, we make our statements both as an organization and through the media and social networks”.

In response to criticism from MPs, Minister Nebati said: “Of course, everyone reads the figures from their own point of view; The important thing is that our country is entering a new century in 2023, the point that our country has reached in the 2nd century of our Republic, and the 21st century being the century of Turkey, thus being the century of Turkey. It will surely give the same pride to the IYI Party, to the MHP, to the MHP to the HDP, to the CHP and to the AK Party; because the better we are, the stronger we are, the more determined this country will be, our common denominator, our common pride. In this sense, we have received all kinds of orders that you have given us, taking notes to make the preparations, and we will take the necessary steps regarding your suggestions quickly, without any hesitation in this regard.

EXPLANATION OF THE NEBATI ‘GENERAL ELECTION’

Introducing his ministry’s budget, Minister Nabati emphasized the general elections and clarified his words that some deputies will not be able to be re-elected after the election, saying:

“It was a fact that I said in our budget speech that some of our deputies would not come because I also served as a deputy here. Of course, some of our Members will not be in the natural flow of life in the next term, but what remains is a pleasant voice. The seats, microphones, backstage here will certainly remind people who come and go here, from the mosque to the restaurant. We work hard, I am one of those who know how difficult and demanding it is to be a representative, and how honorable the profession is. It has been blessed for us as it has been for you. Hopefully, our MPs who will come here will fulfill that sacred and lofty duty of parliament in the best possible way.”
