Commission for the Determination of the Minimum Wage held its first meeting

The Minimum Wage Determination Commission has completed its first meeting within the framework of its efforts to determine the minimum wage figure that will apply in the new year.

In the commission, organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and chaired by the General Manager of Labor, Sadettin Akyıl, the employers’ committee was chaired by the General Secretary of TİSK, Akansel Koç, and the workers’ committee was chaired by the TÜRK-İŞ General Secretary Pevrul Kavlak. .

At the meeting, which was closed to the press, the results of the minimum wage survey of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security were shared with the commission. In the survey, it was stated that the common expectation of the public in the new year is 7,845 lira.

SECOND MEETING ON DECEMBER 14

At the meeting, both workers and businessmen expressed their opinions and demands in line with the economic data.

The Commission will hold its second meeting on December 14, again sponsored by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

TÜRK-İŞ: WE WILL ANNOUNCE TOMORROW

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, TÜRK-İŞ General Secretary Pevrul Kavrak said that tomorrow at 10:00 they will make a statement as a union.
