Demand for quality housing is growing
Esta Construction, which operates in the branded housing sector with Benesta in Turkey, started sales at Benesta BenLeo Acıbadem, which is under construction in Acıbadem, one of Istanbul’s old districts, and has completed 70 percent of its rough construction.
Speaking at the launch meeting, Benesta CEO Roksana Diker said it is difficult to predict the final investment value of the project due to the recent rise in currency and commodity prices.
Stating that 33 per cent of the project has been sold, Diker said: “There is a demand for quality housing. We also see a decrease in building permits. Demand for qualified projects in good locations will continue,” he said.
Stating that both domestic and foreign investors showed interest in the project, Diker noted that Russian citizens also showed great demand due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
Diker also affirmed that there will be different interest rates according to the expected income this month, regarding the housing loan campaign, “There is an expectation in the sector that the campaign will begin in December. If there is a pronouncement from the ministry, we will participate, ”he said.
