Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez, in his response to the parliamentary question from CHP Istanbul MP ​​Sezgin Tanrıkulu, announced that the number of subscribers who had their electricity cut off in 2021 was 356,488.

According to Minister Dönmez’s response, the largest number of subscribers who had their electricity cut last year was in Kayseri. Kayseri was followed by Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir.

While power was cut off to 107,621 subscribers in Kayseri last year, Ankara, which has a population of 5.7 million, followed Kayseri. 37 thousand 415 subscribers were left without light in the capital. Power was cut to 29,855 subscribers in Istanbul and 20,844 subscribers in Izmir.
