Tent set up for the delivery of new cars in Haydarpaşa
A new application has been launched to avoid delays in new car deliveries in Turkey in recent months.
In the tents set up in the empty area next to the Haydarpaşa train station, new vehicles are handed over to their owners without going through the dealership. In this way, it is intended to avoid the loss of time experienced in the shipments of vehicles that go through customs to the dealers, and it is intended that users receive their cars in less time.
STAYS IN TENTS INSTEAD OF TAKING IT TO THE DEALER
The empty area where the old silos are located at the Haydarpaşa customs, next to the historic Haydarpaşa railway station, has been hosting a new application for about 15 days.
In current practice, vehicles unloaded from the ship after clearing customs are kept in tents in the area next to Haydarpaşa station and the customs area, instead of going to dealerships where they are loaded onto trucks.
In the tent, the owners are called after the dealers carry out the transactions related to the cars. Vehicle owners who come to the tents get their cars after a short process.
With this application it became known that the delivery time of the vehicles that normally must be loaded onto trucks and sent to the dealerships where they are sold can be advanced one or two weeks, and the application was implemented so that citizens can receive their vehicles more fast before the holidays.
