There is no unemployment in the country, they are going to employ prisoners in the factories.

The Russian car manufacturer Avtovaz wants to execute prisoners. In a written statement from the Federal Prison Service (FSIN) in Russia’s Samara region, a meeting with Avtovaz officials was held.

“THE MANDATORY LABOR SANCTION”

Noting that Avtovaz aims to increase its production by 28 percent through September and 40 percent through January, the statement said: “At the meeting, the employment of prisoners sentenced to forced labor was discussed.”

Avtovaz is known as the manufacturer of Lada vehicles, one of the most popular car brands in Russia. It was founded in 1966 and has since become the largest car manufacturer in Russia.

In the statement, it was indicated that due to the difficult situation in the labor market in the region, the company asked the FSİN representative for support in the employment of prisoners sentenced to forced labor.

AT THE LOWEST LEVEL EVER

Unemployment in Russia fell to 3.3 percent in April, the lowest level on record. Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his April statement, noted that it has become very difficult to find workers in some sectors.
