According to the EMRA statement, as of today, 119 companies, including Tesla, have obtained the right to provide electric vehicle charging services by establishing charging stations across the country, within the scope of the licenses they have issued. obtained.
In this context, Tesla, like all licensed companies, will service all models of electric vehicles at the charging stations it will establish in Turkey and will determine the price of the charging service on the unit price of energy (kWh).
With the regulations made in the field of electric transportation in Turkey, for the first time in the world, the definition of the charging network operator has been included in the scope of the legislation, and the relevant legal entities have been authorized and the infrastructure legal has been established.

THERE IS A TOTAL OF 3,728 CHARGING POINTS
According to the statement, when charging points where electric vehicle users can obtain charging service are examined, to date, there are 3,728 charging points that provide commercial charging services.
In this context, 646 fast charging (DC) points and 3,082 slow charging (AC) points constituted the electric vehicle charging points in Turkey.
At the end of 2021, the number of electric vehicles registered for transit reached a total of 7,694. By the end of December 2022, with the significant acceleration in sales, this number reached 14,896 in total.

The “Free Access Platform”, where EMRA will share the geographic locations of public charging stations, plug numbers, types and powers of charging units, payment methods, pricing information, and availability, it has also reached the final stage. With this application, citizens who use electric vehicles will have a comfortable and fluid journey to the point they want.
