Outrageous claim about Tesla! Investigation started
In a statement issued by NHTSA, it said Tesla’s Model Y SUVs were under investigation following two complaints that the steering wheel came off while driving.
INCLUDES 120 THOUSAND VEHICLES
In the statement, in which it was noted that the investigation covered approximately 120,000 2023 model vehicles, it was shared that in both complaints the vehicles were delivered to customers without the bolt that connects the steering wheel and the arm.
The NHTSA website, where documents related to the complaints are shared, shows that the two vehicles have low mileage and were recently purchased.
SUDDEN BRAKE COMPLAINT IS INVESTIGATION
NHTSA also announced that it is investigating complaints about sudden braking in Tesla vehicles.
In February, Tesla had to recall approximately 363,000 vehicles after complaints that it violated traffic laws due to a malfunction in the “Fully Autonomous Driving” program. (AA)
