Sales of cars and light commercial vehicles increased by 63.4% in February
The Association of Automotive and Mobility Dealers (ODMD) announced its Automobile and Light Commercial Vehicle Market Report for February 2023.
According to data from the ODMD, sales of automobiles and light commercial vehicles in February 2023 increased by 63.4 percent compared to February 2022 and reached 81,148. Thus, the highest sales volume was reached in February.
In February 2023, car sales increased 56.5 percent from the same month a year earlier to 58,907, while the light commercial vehicle market increased 85.2 percent to 22,241.
PERIOD JANUARY-FEBRUARY
In the January-February 2023 period, the automobile and light commercial vehicle market increased by 50.4 percent.
In the period January-February 2023, Turkey’s total car and light commercial vehicle market increased by 50.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 132,042 units.
In the January-February 2023 period, auto sales increased 44.3 percent from the previous year to 96,195 units, while the light commercial vehicle market increased 69.7 percent to 35,847 units.
