The number of registered vehicles increased by 19.5 percent in October
The Statistical Institute of Turkey published the statistical data of motor land vehicles for October.
Thus, in October 102,403 vehicles were registered for transit, an increase of 19.5 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Of these vehicles, 42.8 percent were cars, 30.7 percent motorcycles, 16.0 percent vans, 6.7 percent tractors, 2.9 percent trucks, 0.4 percent hundred buses, minibuses 0.4 percent and special vehicles 0.1 percent.
The number of registered vehicles in circulation decreased by 0.1 percent compared to the previous month.
THE NUMBER OF REGISTERED MOTORCYCLES INCREASES BY 61.3%
In October, compared to the same month of the previous year, the number of registered vehicles increased 61.3 percent in motorcycles, 28.3 percent in buses, 24.0 percent in vans, 16.0 percent in trucks, 14 .5 percent in tractor units and 0.6 percent in automobiles decreased by 25.7 percent in vehicles and 7.8 percent in minibuses.
The total number of vehicles registered for transit was 26 million 229 thousand 1 at the end of October.
At the end of October, 54 percent of registered vehicles were cars, 16.1 percent trucks, 15.5 percent motorcycles, 7.9 percent tractors, 3.5 percent trucks, 1 .9 percent minibuses, 0.8 percent buses and 0.3 percent special purpose vehicles.
37 PERCENT OF CARS ARE DIESEL
Of the 454,332 cars registered in the January-October period, 70.4 percent were gasoline, 17.8 percent diesel, 8.5 percent hybrid, 2.1 percent LPG, and 1. 2 percent electric.
At the end of October, of the 14,157,691 cars registered for transit, 37 percent were diesel, 35.2 percent LPG, 26.5 percent gasoline, and 1.0 percent electric or hybrid vehicles.
