The agreement regarding a four-day humanitarian pause in the fighting between Israel and Hamas came into force on Friday, November 24 at 07:00 (08:00 CET).

In this context, an agreement was reached in four days to release 150 Palestinians in Israeli prisons in exchange for 50 Israeli prisoners held by Hamas.

In its statement yesterday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the humanitarian pause was extended by another 2 days as a result of mediation efforts carried out between Hamas and Israel. (REUTERS)
