Netanyahu statement on prisoner exchange

Visiting the soldiers, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu made a statement regarding the planned prisoner exchange with Hamas.

Netanyahu said there was progress in negotiations for the prisoner exchange deal and said: “We hope to receive good news soon.”

Netanyahu will reportedly convene first the War Cabinet and then the Security Cabinet this afternoon to discuss the prisoner exchange deal.

It was reported that the Israeli cabinet will meet this afternoon at 8:00 p.m. local time.

The Israeli press stated that the cabinet will approve the long-awaited prisoner exchange agreement between Israel and Hamas at the meeting.

QATAR: HUMANITARIAN SEARCH

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Majid al-Ansari, stated that in the negotiations carried out by his country, a humanitarian pause in the conflicts in the Gaza Strip, which is under intense attacks by Israel, is imminent. .

Ansari said they were quite optimistic about the talks held under Qatari mediation.

Noting that negotiations on a humanitarian pause in the conflict in the Gaza Strip have reached their final stage, Ansari said: “We are at the closest we have ever been to reaching an agreement.”

“THE WORK IS IN QATAR”

Hamas Political Bureau member Izzet al-Rishk said in his morning statement: “The matter is now in the hands of Qatar.” They will announce the long-awaited ceasefire agreement with Israel. “Details of the agreement will be announced later,” he said. Rishk had claimed that under the agreement, a ceasefire was being discussed in exchange for the arrival of aid and the release of women and children from both sides.
