Ukraine: we captured some areas to the left of the Dnipro

The statement made on the Facebook account of the Ukrainian Naval Forces Command states that successful operations were carried out against the Russian army in the Kherson region.

The statement notes that Ukrainian troops took control of some regions on the left bank of the Dnieper River. The statement states that more than 1,200 Russian soldiers were killed and more than 2,200 Russian soldiers were injured in the conflicts in the region, and it was claimed that 24 tanks, 48 ​​armored vehicles and 89 guns belonging to the Russian army were destroyed.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the defense line in the city of Kherson will withdraw to the left bank of the Dnieper River on November 9, 2022.

The head of the Ukrainian General Staff, Valeriy Zalujny, stated that “Russia had no choice but to escape in Kherson.”
