807,000 people still live in northern Gaza

In the written statement of the Central Palestinian Statistics Institute it was reported that approximately 400 thousand people emigrated to the central and southern provinces of the Gaza Strip.

The statement notes that an estimated 807,000 Palestinians still live in Gaza and the northern Gaza provinces, where 1.2 million people lived before October 7.

The statement highlighted that this figure shows that approximately two-thirds of the population living in the northern provinces still reside here and only one-third have migrated to the south.

It was stated that Palestinians in these provinces are mainly concentrated in the refugee camps of Ummu Nasr, Bedouin Village, Beit Lahiya, Beit Hanoun, Jibaliya and Ash-Shati, the cities of Gaza and Az-Zahra, Al-Migraga and Juhr ed -Dik.

The Israeli army had called on northern Gazans many times to “go south.” (AA)
