Tension is high on the border between Israel and Lebanon

The Israeli army announced that some targets were hit in response to attacks carried out from Lebanese territory.

The army statement states that army points were attacked with anti-tank missiles and mortar shells from southern Lebanon. The statement states that the places where these attacks took place were targets of Israeli forces.

It was also reported that Israeli warplanes attacked an infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in Lebanese territory. A group preparing to fire anti-tank missiles from Lebanese territory towards Israel was also reportedly attacked with tank fire.

Hezbollah’s previous statement stated that an attack was carried out against an Israeli military point in the border region.

74 Hezbollah members and 6 Israeli soldiers have been killed in clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah since October 8. (AA)
