France awaits a statement from Israel

While the French Foreign Ministry announced that the French Institute in Gaza was hit by the airstrike carried out by Israel and that no staff were injured, the office of the media organization Agence France Presse (AFP) in Gaza It was also hit by the air attack.

The French Foreign Ministry said it had asked Israeli officials to explain the reasons for the attack “without delay.”

The ministry also expressed “serious concerns” about the number of civilian casualties in Gaza.

In a statement on the social network X, the AFP announced that its office in the Gaza Strip was bombed by the Israeli army and suffered serious damage as a result of the attack.

RSF: WE CONDEMN

The statement from Reporters Without Borders (RSF) states that Israel attacked the tower in Gaza where the offices of different media outlets are located, including the French news agency Agence France-Presse (AFP) and Al Jazeera.

The statement read: “RSF strongly condemns Israel’s continued attacks on the press (in Gaza). “Attacking the media is a war crime.” (AA-REUTERS)
