The first show went viral around the world… Comedian Bassem Youssef spoke about Israel’s plan for Gaza

After the first program that had a great impact in the world, the Egyptian comedian Bassem Youssef was again a guest on the program “Uncensored” by the British presenter Piers Morgan and made notable statements about Israel’s attacks against civilians in Gaza.

On the first show last month, Youssef said, “Dealing with Israel is very difficult, it’s like being in a relationship with a narcissistic psychopath,” and videos of the show went viral on the Internet.

In the latest program, Bassem Youssef said of Israel’s plan to forcibly remove Palestinians living in the blockaded Gaza Strip from their land and settle them in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula: “This is the worst possible solution. This is Palestinian land and suddenly it is being taken away from them. “These people are being kicked out of their homes and now another country should take them in?” he said.

Stating that he asked AI app ChatGPT questions to show different perspectives on Israel and Palestine, Youssef said: “‘Do Israelis deserve to be free?’ Do you know what he told me when I asked him? Yes, Israelis deserve this like any other people. Then when I asked him the same question about the Palestinians, do you know what he told me? ‘This is a complex and delicate issue,’ he claimed.

‘The West is more corrupt than ever’

Youssef stated that “Israel has morally corrupted the West more than ever since October 7 and that it will take a long time for the West to recover” and added: “The West has been telling us for years that it is liberal, that it cares about human rights, that we are all equal and that we must embrace their values. “But he doesn’t accept a ceasefire, he doesn’t even tell Israel to stop.”

Youssef, who satirically criticized the news that a world-famous fast food company was distributing free meals to Israeli soldiers, said: “Because nothing can make you happier than eating a ‘Happy Meal’ after killing a group of Palestinian children “.

‘WHY DON’T THE UNITED STATES GIVE FLORIDA TO ISRAEL?’
Questioning whether the same scenario was considered for the Israelis, Youssef said: “Europe has 44 countries. Why don’t they take the Israelis? The United States has 50 states. Why don’t they give them Florida? They always complain about Florida. Why don’t they give it to Israel then? he said.

Youssef stated that people who shine with the image of “exemplary secularism and democracy” but see the actions of Israel, which is a “racist and apartheid country”, as legitimate, despise the Palestinians and said: “Because they (the Westerners) despise the Palestinians. The heart of the problem is not Hamas or Palestine. “The essence of the problem is the people who despise us,” he said.

While Youssef claimed that the drama in Gaza was ignored by Western media, he said he tried to reflect, at least a little, the perspective of those whose voices were not heard in the previous interview. (AA)
