The words of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who was pranked by Russian comedians, about the war in Ukraine and irregular migration affecting Europe have been revealed.

The recording of the prank phone call appeared on social networks and in the Italian press, made by Russian comedians Vladimir Kuznetsov and Aleksej Stolyarov, known as “Vovan&Lexus”, on September 18, and confirmed yesterday by the Italian Prime Minister in a statement.

Meloni, one of the Russian comedians who introduced himself as an African leader and spoke with him, said in the telephone conversation: “There is fatigue on all sides regarding the conflict in Ukraine. The time is coming when everyone will realize that they need a way out. The problem is finding a way out that is acceptable to both parties without violating international law. Ukraine’s counterattack does not go as expected. This did not change the fate of the conflict. Everyone understands that this could take many years if we don’t try to find a solution. Furthermore, according to the recording of the conversation in question, Meloni states that they are in a difficult situation when his interlocutor asks his opinion on irregular migration.
