The Houthis in Yemen also entered the war… Israel deployed warships to the new front

Increasing attacks by the Iranian-led “resistance front” in the Israeli-Palestinian war put Israel on alert.

The Israeli army, which faced Palestinian groups and Hezbollah on the border between Gaza and Lebanon, was forced this time to focus its attention on this region with missiles launched yesterday from the Red Sea.

Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis announced that they carried out attacks against Israel with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and missiles. Houthi military spokesman Yahya al-Seri said they attacked Israel with many missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Israel announced that the missiles launched by the Houthis were shot down.

A FIRST IN THE WAR

Stating that they carried out an attack for the third time to support Palestinians under Israeli oppression, Seri stated that they will continue their attacks with unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles until Israel’s attacks stop.

The Iran-backed Houthis, who have been under control of the capital Sanaa and some other regions of Yemen since September 2014, for the first time claimed responsibility for attacks on Israel.

The Israeli army announced that the surface-to-surface missile launched from the Red Sea towards Israel was destroyed by the air defense system.

ISRAEL DEPLOYED WARSHIPS IN THE RED SEA

Taking action against increasing attacks by Iranian-backed groups, Israel announced today that it has deployed warships to the Red Sea.

The Israeli military’s written statement states that “in accordance with the assessment of the situation and within the framework of increasing defense efforts in the region, missile ships belonging to the Naval Forces arrived in the Red Sea region.” .

Last week, Israel announced that missiles that landed near the Israeli border with Egypt were fired by the Houthis.
