Israeli Defense Minister Gallant: The price of war is high

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant made assessments about the attacks on Gaza and the ground operation in his statement during his visit to an Israeli Air Force unit.

Stating that many Israeli soldiers were deployed to the Gaza Strip, Gallant noted that there were clashes between ground troops and Palestinian groups.

Gallant opined that Israeli forces “achieved significant success” in the conflicts in question, stating: “Unfortunately, war comes at a price. “The price on the last day was quite high,” he said.

“WE ARE DETERMINED”

“Despite this, we are determined to move forward and win,” Gallant added.

In its statement today, the Israeli army announced that two of its soldiers were killed and two of them seriously injured in clashes in northern Gaza. (AGENCIES)
