Israel: we shoot down the missile fired from the Red Sea

The Israeli army announced that a missile fired from the Red Sea region towards Israeli territory was destroyed in the air by the defense system.

The Israeli army statement states that a surface-to-surface missile was fired from the Red Sea towards Israel. It was claimed that the missile in question was destroyed by the Israeli air defense system.

The statement also notes that after an “air threat” was detected in the Red Sea, fighter jets took off and the target in question was destroyed before it reached Israel’s borders.
Although the Israeli military did not provide information on where or who fired the missile in question, local media reported that the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen were behind the attack.

MURDER OF HAMAS COMMANDER

On the other hand, the Israeli army announced that it killed a Hamas commander in the north of the blockaded Gaza Strip.

In the written statement made by the Israeli military, it is stated that “Israeli warplanes liquidated the commander of Hamas’s Beit Lahiya battalion, Nessim Abu Acina, based on intelligence from the national intelligence agency Shin-Bet (Shabak)” .

The statement claimed that Abu Acina served as Hamas’ “air force commander” in the past and played a role in developing unmanned aerial vehicles and glider capabilities, and that Abu Acina sent “fighters” to settlements around Loop. He shoots on October 7th. (AA)
