Critical meeting in Lebanon from the anti-Israeli front
As tensions rose rapidly in the Middle East, an important meeting took place in Lebanon.
Israel, which has been bombing Gaza for days, continues to clash with the Lebanese Hezbollah on its northern border. As concerns grow that Lebanon will also be drawn into the war, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah met with leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, which are fighting Israel in Gaza.
Al Manar television reported that Nasrallah, who met with Hamas chief Salih al Aruri and Islamic Jihad leader Ziyad al Nakhala, discussed the strategy to be followed by the anti-Israel front.
It was noted that the three names discussed the methods that the “resistance front” would use in war and internationally to achieve victory against Israel in Gaza.
CONCERN ABOUT THE NEW FRONT OF THE WAR
Recently, clashes between Israel and Hezbollah on the Lebanese border have become increasingly violent.
In the clashes that began between the Israeli army and Hezbollah on the Lebanese border on October 8, 12 members of Hezbollah, 2 members of Islamic Jihad and 3 civilians, one of whom was a journalist, lost their lives. Two Israeli soldiers and one Israeli civilian lost their lives in the attacks carried out by Lebanon.
While the loss of life has increased since that day, Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Naim Kasım noted that they could open a “new front” against Israel and said: “We will take action when the time comes to act.”
