Israeli police block Masjid al-Aqsa

Israeli police continue to exert pressure on the Old City of occupied East Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa mosque there. Israeli forces, who have set up security barriers in the Old City area, maintain a strong presence around Masjid al-Aqsa.

Palestinian sources, who wish to remain anonymous, stated that the Israeli police restricted the entry of young Palestinians and women to Al-Aqsa and allowed the entry of Palestinians in their 60s.

Raids by fanatical Jewish settlers on Masjid al-Aqsa have reportedly continued.

THE FANATIC JEWS ARE ATTACKING

267 fanatical Jewish settlers were recorded storming the Masjid al-Aqsa on Sunday, and around 100 on Monday and today, under the protection of the Israeli police.

According to the fatwas of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, most Jews stay away from the attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque. However, some radical Jewish groups are encouraging Israelis to attack the Masjid al-Aqsa on the grounds that they perform religious rituals, accompanied by calls to build a “Statuary Mountain” (Temple Mount) in place of the Masjid. al-Aqsa.

Jews have entered the Al-Aqsa mosque accompanied by police since 2003, by a unilateral decision by Israel and at the initiative of some fanatical Jewish organizations.
The Jordanian Foundation, the Administration of Islamic Foundations of Jerusalem, affiliated with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Sacred Affairs, which has been under the protection of the Al-Aqsa Mosque since 1994, describes the entry of fanatical Jews into the holy site as a raid. (AA)
