Israel attacked a ‘cell’ on the Lebanese border
The Israeli army statement states that a cell consisting of armed elements was detected on the Lebanese side of the border, near the Har Dov region of Israel. It was found that the cell in question was shot from the air.
The Israeli army statement also states that an anti-tank missile was fired from Lebanese territory towards the Israeli side in another region, and that no one was injured in the attack.
The statement states that the point from which the anti-tank missile was fired was hit by artillery fire.
There have been clashes between Hezbollah and the Israeli army on the Israel-Lebanon border since October 8.
In the clashes, in addition to 31 members of Hezbollah, 6 members of the Islamic Jihad Movement, 3 members of Hamas and 2 members of the Sunni Resistance Brigade supported by Hezbollah were killed, and 4 civilians, including a journalist, lost their lives.
Three Israeli soldiers and one Israeli civilian lost their lives in the attacks carried out by Lebanon. (AA)
