They capture the man who burned thousands of cars in the airport parking lot

After a fire broke out at Luton Airport in London, England, on October 10, authorities arrested the person who started the fire.

Approximately 1,200 cars were reduced to ashes in the fire that broke out in the covered, multi-storey car park at London’s fourth largest airport. Hundreds of firefighters intervened in the fire that broke out in the newly built area of ​​the parking lot, but the flames were not extinguished until 12 hours later. Authorities responding to the fire announced that the fire may have occurred due to a problem with a diesel vehicle.

Bedfordshire Police Station said the man arrested was in his 30s. It was reported that the man, who was arrested and whose name was not revealed, was released after paying bail.

THOUSANDS OF VEHICLES WERE DESTROYED

Authorities also stated that the investigation into the incident continues. Between 1,200 and 1,500 vehicles were reduced to ashes in the parking lot, where the flames grew at high speed. Flights were canceled after the fire at the airport, used by budget airlines Easyjet and Ryanair.

On the other hand, it was indicated that investigations into the burned vehicles in the parking lot continue and that the owners of the vehicles that are in usable condition will be contacted.
