Israel announced: we intensify air strikes before ground operation

The Israeli military announced that it has intensified airstrikes against the Gaza Strip in order to “prepare for the next phase of the war and reduce the threats it will face.”

Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari stated in his press release that they will not stop the attacks in Gaza.

Referring to the ground operation in Gaza, Hagari said: “We are trying to increase strikes in Gaza to prepare for the next phase of the war and reduce the threats our forces may face.”

Spokesman Hagari said: “We will move to the next stage in the best conditions for the Israeli army and in accordance with the decision of political will.”

Hagari also reiterated the call made by the Israeli army to residents of northern Gaza, where more than 1 million people live, to evacuate and head to the southern region.

The Israeli army, which sent hundreds of tanks and military vehicles to the Gaza border and recruited 360,000 reserve soldiers, has been announcing a ground operation against Gaza for days. However, it was not announced when this operation would take place.

THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE DIED

Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive attack against Israel on the morning of October 7, called the “Aqsa Flood.”

As thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel, Palestinian armed groups attacked and seized the Beit Hanun-Erez border gate on the Gaza-Israel border.

Armed groups then entered settlements inside Israel from here and the Israeli army launched an attack on the Gaza Strip with dozens of fighter jets.

It was reported that 1,400 Israelis, including 306 soldiers, were killed and 5,132 Israelis were wounded in the attacks carried out from Gaza.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza announced that 4,385 people, including 1,756 children, were killed and more than 13,000 injured in Israel’s attacks on Gaza.

It was claimed that 90 Palestinians were killed in attacks by Israeli forces and Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank.

16 journalists lost their lives in Israel’s attacks on Gaza.

In clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah on the Israel-Lebanon border since October 8, 18 Hezbollah members and 3 civilians, including a journalist, lost their lives.

Three Israeli soldiers and one Israeli civilian lost their lives in the attacks carried out by Lebanon.
